I heard one of "those" songs the other day. You know the ones that kind of kick you in the chest and dredge up a bunch of cr** and make you cry? This was it:

I remember looking up

And I remember most the time

When he got home at night

He stumbled in the gym
On graduation day
And I couldn’t help but feel
So ashamed
And I wasn’t surprised a bit
When he didn’t stay
He stumbled out before they called my name

and even though I’ve turned 18

Yeah. That's it. I'm tearing up now, just reading it. My kids won't EVER have to say that. I guess even a negative example can be useful sometimes.
