Having a severe lack of motivation day. All the energy was sapped from my body during the 2 hour Committee of Committee Chairs meeting yesterday at church. There is nothing quite as draining as a UU committee meeting. UGH. At least Cush and Peter did a pretty good job of keeping everyone on task. After hearing Peter talk, my hope is that something will happen around the issue of information dissemination and someone will finally start to take the webpage seriously. It really needs to be gutted and redone to increase it's interactivity and overall relevance to the congregation but that can't happen until everyone buys into the process and starts contributing to it. *sigh* I'm not getting my hopes up.
I am kind of working and slacking today. I printed some stuff for Crazy Lady and moved some furniture around. I got a new bookcase for the conference room so I have to go in there and reorganize stuff and arrange the books and resources. Not looking forward to it. blah I got scheduled entered into the calendaring software. I still have to get data condenced and entered into the database. blah I'll probalby do that next. I have a BatB story I'm working on but I've gotten stuck. Waiting for that to unstick itself. *yawn*
Kids are doing good. Nothing new to report on there. We got the pool out over the weekend and filled it up. None too soon from what I hear. The weather guy last night said it is going to start heating up here pretty quick. The kiddies are eagerly awaiting swimming so this will be a good thing, I guess.
John has his algebra test tomorrow at 6 for the electrician's union. He has been studying since Friday so I think he will do fine. He's very stressed and nervous but hopefully he won't let that affect him. One of the guys he worked with at the warehouse called with a job lead but it was in computers and John isn't that well versed.
