What a crazy weekend. I busted my butt and finally finished the first draft of the Peace Corps site I am working on. That was NOT an easy one to do by any stretch.
Here it is. On Friday night I had finally had enough of the laptop and restored to factory. DANG was that a pain. I'm still not completely finished reinstalling everything. And the REALLY frustrating thing is that the CD burner worked for about a day and then quit again. *sigh* So now I have to disconnect my external drive, take it down and hook it up to the desktop, burn the CDs, bring it back and hook it back up to the laptop. Yuck. Tonight I have to reinstall Publisher and crank out the newsletter for the church. Then I have to get my FTP client hooked back up and get the church webpage updated. I did the Peace Corps site with just the java FTP interface on Bravenet and BOY was that a pain. Never again, I tell you.
Aidan got her progress report at daycare today. She got check marks on everything. Which is good. Except nap. She got a sometimes on nap. Sounds familiar. LOLOL When I was in kindergarden I only ever got one "I" on my report card and that was in nap time cause I was talking to Heather Engvall and got caught.
According to this report, her favorite outside activity is climbing structure and slide. (Is anyone shocked by this?) Her favorite playtime activity is Blues Clues toys and dolls. And she has a special friend named Elaina. The notes from the teacher say "Aidan is a very nice and polite girl. She has a lot of friends." I swear, she uses up all the nice and polite at school so by the time she gets home all she has left is grumpy and fitty!!!!! ROFL This weekend all she would say is NO. To everything. It didn't matter what it was she said NO. She got swats and sent to bed early the last two nights for just standing there right to my face and saying NO when I told her to stop doing something. GAD is she EVER going to stop being TWO!!!!!!!!
Ian really surprised me yesterday. We were sitting in my bed and Ian was watching a movie while I worked on the computer. All of a sudden Ian just starts saying "I Love You, Mommy, I Love You, Mommy" over and over again. It seems he is trying to give me lots of I Love You, Mommys to remember when I can't hear anymore. LOLOL He is such a cutie. :oD
Ok, I'm wicked tired and I have to get some work done, so I will check back in later.
Peace.
