Good morning all. I am up and around again. It was an interesting hospital visit. (what else is new LOLOL)

Because of my anesthesia issues they were well prepared for me. They seemed to think I would be a perfect teaching case. So when I went into the pre-op area I had a medical student shadowing the nurse doing my questions and vitals and stuff. Then I got a visit from the anesthesia team. I had the anesthesiologist, a pulmonary fellow and a med student going over my last operation and talking about how they can make sure all that doesn't happen again. After they were done talking to me, the anesthesiologist and the med student stood out in the hallway talking about it for a while and the pulmonary fellow came in and did the shot and IV and whatnot. He was REALLY good. It didn't hurt at all!!!

Then I got the "I don't care" drugs and went into the operating room.

When I woke up in the recovery room I had to stay a little extra until I woke up completely because my little oxygen monitor kept beeping. The nurse kept coming over and wacking me on the shoulder and telling me to take deep breaths. LOLOL Boy was I glad to get out of there and stop getting wacked!!!

They moved me into an individual room and told me I could stay the night if I wanted to. But I told the kids I would be home when they got back from school so I just sucked it up, popped a couple of vicoden and got in the car. ;oD

So I'm still here, just taking it easy and recuperating. Mom in Law comes tomorrow for a week and I'm going to try to go back to work half days on Monday. Hopefully I can got online more then.
