I've got pictures, I really do. They are on the digital camera. I just have to download them and I will put them up. I swear. ;oD
Well, we are now the full owners of a 1993 Saturn SL 4 door sedan. Dark-ish red. Standard transmission. A bit rusty in spots and it needs a new tape deck. Nothing automatic about this car. But it handles better than the station wagon did. It's a lot lower to the ground which is interesting when my knees are acting up. LOLOL
The only hitch in the process was that the guy we bought it from used white-out on the back of the title so we had to drive back out to Falmouth and have him sign another form to get a new title. *gad*
Oh well. I'm just hoping it lasts until the bankruptcy is all through.
Ian and Aidan had a great time trick or treating. There is one family who always does a really great "spook" house up the street and this year was no exception. But I think it was a bit too spooky for Aidan because she was moving really slowly up to it.
Well, let's just all keep some good thoughts for the coming year. The holidays are coming soon, the solstice will be here before you know it. Gramma Marlene and Grampa Ron are already doing their Christmas shopping. They are sending us money to get Ian the DVD box set of Discovery Channel Dinosaur movies. He will be thrilled. :oD I think they are going to get Aidan a little piano or keyboard which she will really like. I am going to try talking John into letting me have a Yule log in the house this year. I tried to get him to make me one last year but he wouldn't do it. I just have to keep telling myself that patience is a virtue. ;oD
I have started drinking Dunkin Doughnuts coffee in the morning again. I haven't drunk coffee in years but I stared getting the craving again recently and since there is a Dunkin right around the corner from work, it was like the gods were telling me something. John stopped in this morning after he had his lab work done at the doctor's office so I had him go get me my coffee and bagel. Sad to say this pot was sitting too long. It is just a wee bit bitter. *yuck*
Ok, enough of that. Back to work. Hopefully I will be able to get back to posting more regularly again now that the immediate crisis is over. For those of you who are still visiting, thanks for hanging in with me.
Peace y'all.
