Ian had his first OT session yesterday. John stopped in on his way to work to tell me about it. It seems to have gone well. I had these horrible visions of sitting at a table for an hour doing puzzles and drawing but it is nothing like that. There is an obstical course that the kids have to go through and the fine motor work comes at the end when they fish through a bucket of popcorn to find puzzle pieces and then put the puzzles together. Things like ring puzzles and that kind. John said Ian had trouble with the ring puzzle, snapping them together, until one of the therapists suggested he pretend the one with the opening was an animal with a mouth and it was going to eat the other one. That seemed to help. I am going to take a vacation day on the 29th so I can go to a session and see what goes on.

I am also going to the dentist that day for the first time in a while. Yikes! I am so not looking forward to that. I know there is going to have to be some serious work done because I have not been taking good care of my teeth at all. *bad girl!!!*

Ok, back to work. *yuck*
