Ok, these hermit crabs are crackin' me up now. They have apparently been talking amongst themselves and formed a little family-type group. The other day, Big Spot and Big Shelly were stacked on top of each other and Little Spot was on top of the whole pile reaching for the lid of the crabitat. John and I were just laughin' at the whole thing. John is wondering what series of clicks and clacks means "Hey guys, tonight is the jailbreak". LOLOL
Ok, yes, I really do need to get a grown-up life. It was a very good weekend with the kids. Sunday being Easter, we went to church. In view of the fact that we are a Pagan-Christian household, we try to celebrate all the holidays and Unitarian Universalist churches are great for that. Ian seemed to understand the whole concept of Ostara which is what I gave him. I don't know what John is going to do about the resurection story and it's not my job to worry about it. :oD Ian has grown quite fond of Martie and wants to go to her "church school" sometime. Oy vey. I must admit that the thought of him attending a Jehovahs Witness service even once, gives me the heebie jeebies. I have these horrible visions of him going in my sweet, loving baby boy and coming out some evil, hateful, judgemental...well, you know...christian. But these are my own issues and I refuse to pass them along to my children. So at some point, he will go. *sigh*
Aidan is getting so bossy it cracks me up!! She definitely has a different temprement than Ian. I worry a little bit that her first impulse when frustrated is to hit or kick. And usually it's a person she is directing these impulses at. As soon as we remind her about not hitting or kicking she will usually stop but the first impulse is always there. Ian never had this difficulty. I'm just not sure how to address this issue. How to get her to divert that frustration into a different outlet. Any mommies out there have any suggestions?
John's mom is going to be visiting in July from what I understand. This means that if I start now, I may be able to get the house clean before she gets here. YIKES!!! I really need to win the Megabucks so I can hire the Merry Maids. LOLOL Of course if I won the Megabucks, I could quit my job and clean my house myself so there ya go.
We are going to see Mary Jane on Thursday to find out the results of the report. Just a little nervous about that. Keep a good thought for us.
